About Us
Founded in 2009, Don’t Talk To Me About Heroes is a unique creative music clothing brand formed through a partnership between leading music photographers and Propaganda Creative. It celebrates that elusive property called “star quality” and the skill of lensmen who dedicate their lives to immortalising it.
The utmost care has been taken to serve the integrity of the images used. Iconic shots spanning five decades, taken by the likes of Roger Sargent (The Libertines), Brian Griffin (Echo & The Bunnymen, Depeche Mode) and Howard Barlow (Iggy Pop, Tom Verlaine).
Every single design has met with the approval of the photographer responsible for the image, be it Ian McCulloch silhouetted by strobes in a venue packed with new disciples or Chrissie Hynde proving that pouting whilst wearing leather trousers is not the exclusive domain of the boys.
The faces change, as do the signatures of the photographers that adorn every garment – yet the photographers who captured them accessed a part of their subjects that will never be found anywhere else.
All our products are printed to order by our worldwide network of printing partners and are shipped internationally.
